i don't think this box is big enough to list all the marvin gaye songs that need to be there, but "sexual healing" and "let's get it on" definitely.

"Me and Mrs. Jones," though that might just be my personal weirdness.

mix together prince and spacemen 3 songs. "that's hot". anything from the seventies with saxophophones is good if you want to invoke sleazy sex i.e. springsteen's spirits in the night stones waiting for a friend. stray cat blues is good. er, rod stewart's do ya think i'm sexy? or any early rod stewart really. rod would be good mixed in with some early sonic youth i.e. starpower, halloween...any weird droning disco. i feel love by donna summer the extended version. ladytron seventeen. bridget bardot, marianne faithfull sex with strangers and why d'ya do it?, beck when he's trying to be prince...

Oh man, well... "Let's Get It On" and and "Kiss" by Prince, and what else? Dyermaker and for me Springsteen's "I'm on Fire" and also "Unchained Melody" and "A Little Less Conversation" and "Like a Prayer".

And at the risk of really further embarassing myself, I get hot to that song that goes, "Why dontcha lay me down in the tall grass and let me do my stuff" and also "Return of the Grievous Angel", Steve Winwood's "Higher Love" and "Rita Balloo" and "Hey"... but I'm kinda messed up...

Oh and Lucinda Williams and Steve Earle's "You're still standing there."

I'm not very cool.

All respectable suggestions, but I'm sorry everyone, this is the ALL time sexiest song:

James Brown's "Bewildered," (particularly his live at the Apollo version on Revolution of the Mind)

What other song gives you the following lyrics:

Baby, forget about that diet,
And sit down and eat,
Losin' that weight you don't,
Because the more you got
the more I want,
And it make me wanna scream,
AWWWWWWWWWWWW
Hit me!
Yea...baby!

Wow -- thanks everyone and btw, A, the "Do You Think I'm Sexy" remix was already on the playlist! Oh, the childhood memories that song evokes.
