or a $100+ sucker purchase? Do I get my arms back for a couple extra hours a day or do I have to find storage for another awkward piece of crap?

Nope, that should do the trick. Did for us.
Though for Jonah, only the highest setting (3, though it was fast enough to be '11') worked. I think I remember there being some kind of seatbelt, you might want to use. It's been a while.

yep it worked for Olivia too. We also at six months got one of those swings that hangs from the ceiling like a baby bungie and she adored it. Of course, it was a little frightening watching her fly around the room.
