It was a bit of an adjustment at first, but once I figured out where things were, I think it's easier dealing with the new version.
If I want to change a sidebar poll, for example, I only have to edit that one element, not go into my template editor where one wrong move can screw up the whole thing.
As "upgrades" go, I haven't had much of a problem at all. But I'll add the line another of your commenters used: maybe that's just me. (And I'm also on a Mac. Maybe that does make a difference?)

hey reb,
sucks huh? i made the mistake up upgrading a couple weeks ago. it's like, blog links are easier now but everything else is harder. yuk.
morning,
john
oh, i hear you. new blogger is weak.
Thanks for the warning.
It won't let me log in without upgrading. My robot will be quiet a while.
God, I thought I was the only one. I am seriously enjoying your use of tags, though, so it's not entirely a loss.
I find the newer blogger to be easier to use...but that's just me. Everyone is going to have to eventually move to the new version at some point.
hmm, i am having no problems. mebbe because i am on a mac? or because i have a custom template?
the drag and drop template design (which i used on another blog) is unnecessarily bloated in the code, which can make it buggy when moving stuff.
mac users still have to code their own links and formatting. (we don't get a wysiwyg template.) i actually prefer it that way.
were any of you beta testing? give them some feedback, yo. they listen. eventually.
