I'd love to see the junior league 'get their freak on' (an aptly out of date phrase to use).

I hate the junior league, though they pay well for entertainment now and again.

I found this paragraph, occurring just above the line you quote, pretty interesting:

A group of mothers who call themselves the Mommy Bloggers...turned their blogs into a virtual distribution center that provided supplies for victims all over the country.

So apparently, they're the junior leagues in relief distribution. Here I was thinking that was FEMA.
