Dear N
I think if online magazine editors are going to stay married to the print tradition of "issues", they should at least integrate it intelligently.
I like the new format of 42opus -- building its "issue", day by day. Every few days I check it out. There's always new content (just enough for me to read for one visit) and it's top-level. Readers hate having to click and dig around for stuff. Put it where we can easily read it!

Hi there. I love the work, but don't like the fact that they require Flash. Without it, I can only see one poem (which is a good one!).
Flash is a proprietary format, which, while it doesn't cost anything (right now), places a lot of legal restrictions on people who want to work with it.
I suggest that it's a poor format to use for artists who are interested in sharing their work outside the boundaries placed on creative expression by corporations claiming to "own" the manner in which the work is both produced, and viewed.
That's an interesting point -- I hadn't thought of that.
