Question: Why do adults on children's TV programs all have to dress like idiots? Is this the bar for visual interest?

At least the Doodlebops are in character! I'm talking about all adults who make any appearances -- demin button down shirts, intentional mismatched clothing, think horizontal stripes -- blahhhhhhh
